Do you have a good life but feel like it could be even better?
Do you have a dream or passion in your heart that you think about in those quiet moments?
Do you wonder what life will look like when your children don’t require all of your energy?
If you answered yes to those questions, you are not alone…
My dream is for every woman to find their purpose, passion and happiness!
The year was 2007. I had 3 very busy youngsters under foot. The possibility of life without them demanding my every waking (and sleeping) moment was not on my radar.
My sister left the family home. She was the youngest of us 5 siblings. I saw my mom struggle. All she had known for more than 30 years was raising children. She didn’t build anything for herself to pour into when we all left. She started working at a daycare because children were all she knew.
I love children and all, but after my own in-home daycare business, I knew kids were not my passion.
This was a gut check for me.
I needed to squirrel away little bits of time to feed my own soul. I knew I needed an exit strategy from this mom gig. My goal became building a life of my own so I wasn’t the crazy mom calling my adult children 5 times every day.
Can I get an amen?
I can see my oldest daughter rolling her eyes. I can hear my youngest telling me it’s o.k. I can hear the family comedian telling me to get a life. I can see my oldest chuckling.
I love my children too much to put that kind of pressure on them. This took me down a long, windy road to figure out what I wanted to be when I grew up. At nearly 40, I finally figured it out.
I have always known I was going to serve women in some capacity. I believe I was put on this planet and had the struggles I did to change the lives of other females.
I WANT TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE TOO!
I believe as women we are stronger than we give ourselves credit for.
I believe if we stopped judging and started supporting one another, generations would change.
I believe in action, not just words to put on your mirror.
I believe we are all on this planet to do great things. Yes, even you my scared friend.
